Title

Resolution declaring that certain City property in Washington's Landing shall be dedicated for public park purposes.

Body

      WHEREAS, by deed (the "Deed") dated September 28, 1993, the Urban Redevelopment Authority conveyed to the City title to 7.37 ± acres of land know as Parcel 8 in the Improvement Subdivison site Plan of Washington's Landing at Herr's Island as recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 165, pages 126 and 127 (the "parcel") located in the 24th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and

      WHEREAS, the parcel is further described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached hereto; and

      WHEREAS, the City now desires to officially dedicate the parcel for public park purposes; and

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      It is hereby declared that the above-described parcel shall hereafter officially be dedicated for park purposes.
