• Title: WHEREAS, On Friday May 25 2007, Reverend Ron Wanless Pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church is being honored for his relentless efforts to bring a renewed sense of community back to the Deutschtown neighborhood; and, WHEREAS, Reverend Ron Wanless who through his commitment and dedication to the New Hope Community Action Coalition Community Group restored faith and hope to the Deutschtown residents; and, WHEREAS, Reverend Ron Wandless through guidance and leadership has lead a positive impact in the Deutschtown Community; and, WHEREAS, Reverend Ron Wanless, strong voice has put the Deutschtown Community on the right track and opened their hearts to believe in a bigger and brighter future for their neighborhood; and, WHEREAS, Reverend Ron Wanless through his missionary work and programs has empowered people to trust, care and reach out their hand to make a difference in the every day lives of the church and the residents in the community; and, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RE...

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh commends Reverend Ron Wanless for all of his services and efforts put forward through his pastoral duties to his Church and the surrounding  communities; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh proclaims that Friday May 25^th, 2007 is "Reverend Ron Wanless Day" in the City of Pittsburgh!
