Title

Resolution authorizing the City’s acceptance of a deed conveying all right, title, and interest in parcel 0122-S-00001-0000-00, which is a hillside with no address located along Allegheny River Boulevard in Council District 9 and in the 12th Ward, to the City of Pittsburgh and authorizing the payment of One Dollar ($1) in exchange for the parcel.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the current owner of parcel 122-S-1 (the “Parcel”), a hillside with no address located along Allegheny River Boulevard in Council District 9 and in the 12th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, has offered the Parcel for sale to the City of Pittsburgh in exchange for One Dollar ($1).

 

WHEREAS, the City’s acquisition of the Parcel will be beneficial to the public and to the City for various purposes including, but not limited to, stormwater runoff. 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. That execution of a deed by and between Ference Miller Ventures, LLC and/or Michael Ference and the City of Pittsburgh to convey the parcel identified as 122-S-1 located along Allegheny River Boulevard in Council District 9 and in the 12th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for the sum of $1.00 plus costs, is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That acceptance of the aforementioned deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
