AFFIRMATIVE RECOMMENDATION

Title

Resolution repealing Resolution No. 298, effective May 4, 2001, which provides funding for matching grants with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to further park, recreation, and open space conservation efforts of the City of Pittsburgh, at a cost not to exceed $250,000.00.

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     Resolution 298, effective May 4, 2001 which presently reads as follows:

The Mayor and the Director of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to provide "funding for matching grants" with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to further park, recreation, and open space conservation efforts of the City of Pittsburgh, at a cost not to exceed $250,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the following account: 500000-5100-110000-PGHPR-2267026-2001.

Is repealed.
