Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh to enter into certain temporary construction easements in order to advance the Herndon Street Landslide Remediation project, at no cost to the city.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh is currently advancing a channel remediation project along Herndon Street in the 20th ward of the City, and;

 

WHEREAS, to advance the project, access to certain parcels of property within the project area are necessary for safe movement of construction equipment in addition to grading and other construction activities, and;

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh seeks to enter into temporary construction easements with various property owners in order to allow for necessary access and construction activities to advance the project.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into certain temporary construction easements for construction purposes necessary to advance the Herndon Street Landslide Remediation project, as set forth further in the property table and graphic attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibits A and B respectively.

Section 2. The temporary construction easements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
