Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Pittsburgh City Council commends Robert Scullion, Sr., Janet Cercone-Scullion and Robert Scullion, Jr., for creating Cercone Village and for their family's lifelong commitment to building a better Bloomfield.

WHEREAS, Cercone Village on the Park is a unique new development project that seamlessly combines a tribute to Pittsburgh's heritage and a professionally designed office building; and

 

WHEREAS, the opening of Cercone Village on the Park is the culmination of ten years of a "hands on" development strategy that worked in harmony with the neighbors, building upon a cornerstone of culture, quality, integrity and a sense of community; and

 

WHEREAS, the site has already become a setting for high quality medical care, providing superior healthcare and job opportunities for Bloomfield residents, as well as all of Western Pennsylvania; and

 

WHEREAS, the story of Cercone Village represents the best of Pittsburgh, as a family, whose roots in Bloomfield have grown over seven decades have continually honored the legacy of their ancestors by sustaining a lifelong commitment to improving their neighborhood.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Pittsburgh City Council commends Robert Scullion, Sr., Janet Cercone-Scullion and Robert Scullion, Jr., for creating Cercone Village and for their family's lifelong commitment to building a better Bloomfield.
