Resolution approving the recommendation made by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that the streets; Benton Ave, Altamont Way, Whitewood Drive, Cedarbrook Drive, Kentmoor Drive, Coleridge Place, Coleridge Street, and Schenly Manor Drive, be paved with asphalt in accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh City Council by Ordinance 42 of 2018 amended Section 417.06 of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances requires final legislative approval of City Council should the Director of Mobility and Infrastructure recommend asphalt paving of a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood, or concrete; and
WHEREAS, Benton Ave, Altamont Way, Whitewood Drive, Cedarbrook Drive, Kentmoor Drive, Coleridge Place, Coleridge Street, and Schenly Manor Drive are currently concrete and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to advance the paving of Benton Ave, Altamont Way, Whitewood Drive, Cedarbrook Drive, Kentmoor Drive, Coleridge Place, Coleridge Street, and Schenly Manor Drive with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave Benton Ave from California Ave to Brighton Road, Altamont Way from Bernd St to Arcadia way, Whitewood Drive from Arnold Street to Stueben Street, Cedarbrook Drive from Whitewood Drive to the dead end, Kentmoor Drive from Whitewood Drive to dead end, Coleridge Place from the dead end to Coleridge Street, Coleridge Street from Woodbine Street to Brintell Street, and Schenly Manor Drive from Azure Street to Oranmore Street with an overlay of asphalt.
