Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Department of Public Works are authorized to enter into an agreement with the United States Tennis Association’s Facility Grant Application, should the grant be awarded by USTA, to provide funding for lighting improvements to the tennis courts in Schenley Park.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $30,000.00 with a local match of $120,000.00 included in the 2020 City of Pittsburgh’s Operating Budget.  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($150,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose for this stated purpose.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400297.48311.00. Monies for the $120,000.00 match from the City shall draw from the following accounts:
