WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh and the Byham Theater is proud to welcome Marvelous Entertainment Incorporated production of "What Men Don't Tell", February 5 - 8, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Marvelous Entertainment Incorporated, is the powerhouse producer and presenter of live theatrical entertainment and concert productions for today's families. MEI brings the intimacy and emotions of staged theater through its series of gospel inspired plays. Plays which include, "I Need A Man", "Be Careful What You Pray For", and "God Don't Like Ugly", to name a few; and
WHEREAS, "What Men Don't Tell" was written and directed by "Laterras R. Whitfield. This young trailblazer plans to focus' on Christian based plays that cater to the redemption of males; and
WHEREAS, "What Men Don't Tell" has an all star cast of performers that include Stellar Award winning artist Dottie Peoples, balladeer Lenny Williams, husband and wife singing sensations, Chante' Moore and Kenny Latimore, just to name a few; and
WHEREAS, National Promotional Director, Bill Reid, has been providing quality productions that promote family values and moral integrity, and since the beginning of the 1980's Mr. Reid has devoted his skills and talents to the promotions and productions of Gospel Musical Stage Plays and Gospel Concerts.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVE, that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh recognizes and commends writer & director, Laterras R. Whitfield, promoter, Bill Reid, and the all-star cast of "What Men Don't Tell" for their community commitment and the desire to share their craft and love of God for all to enjoy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh declares February 5 - 8, 2004, a "What Men Don't Tell" all-star weekend.
