Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") is hereby designated as the agent of the City of Pittsburgh for acquisition of severances of the following properties located in the 14th Ward as part of the Nine Mile Run Watershed Restoration Project:
 
      129-J-8            132 Ettwein Street            Allen McKinney
      129-J-33 and 35      115 McFarren Street            Patricia Kennedy
      129-J-32            123 McFarren Street            Margaret A. Campas
      129-J-30            125 McFarren Street            John G. Miller, III
      129-J-29            127 McFarren Street            Albert Melchitzky
      129-J-28            129 McFarren Street            David J. Lipchak and
                                                Marcia L. Gerwig
 
Section 2.  The severances to be acquired shall be substantially in accordance with the drawing prepared for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dated September 18, 2000 entitled "Real Estate Ecosystem Project Nine Mile Run for City of Pittsburgh - Real Estate Mapping".
 
Section 3.  URA is authorized to acquire the property in the name of the City of Pittsburgh as grantee, to execute sales agreements and other necessary and appropriate documents on behalf of the City and to record deeds to the properties in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County.
