Title

Resolution vacating a portion of Bingler Street at Parade Way in the 15^th Ward, 5^th Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

Whereas, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Bingler Street in the 15^th Ward, 5^th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and

Whereas, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by ant persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That vacating a portion of Bingler Street 40 feet wide, beginning at a point on the southeastly side of Bingler Street at Parade Way northerly 40 feet to a point thence westerly a distance of 153.46 feet to a point; thence 40 feet southerly to a point; thence easterly a distance of 170.98 feet to the place of the beginning, consisting of Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33 in the Catherine Bingler Plan of Lots, Volume 8, Page 299, fronting Lot and Block Parcels 55-K-337, 343, 364 and 365 containing approximately 6,489 square feet in the 15^th Ward, 5^th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
