Resolution Vacating a portion of Technology Drive between the east and west intersections of the relocated Technology Drive in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.


Body
WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Technology Drive in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and

WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation;


Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That the following portion of Technology Drive in the Ward of the City of Pittsburgh shall be and the same is hereby vacated, excepting and preserving the right of easement for sewer and water lines and easements for various private and public utilities located therein:

All that certain portion of Technology Drive, to be vacated, as shown on the Pittsburgh Technology Center Plan of Lots No. 2 as recorded in the Department of Real Estate of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 267, Pages 102 through 104, situate in the 4th Ward, City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, being more particularly bound and described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the line dividing Parcel No. 1A and Parcel No. 8A in the Pittsburgh Technology Center Plan of Lots No. 2 as recorded in the Department of Real Estate of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 267, Pages 102 through 104, said point being the following five (5) courses and distan...
