WHEREAS, The Pittsburgh Allderdice Boys Basketball Team, a beacon of perseverance, has once again proven their mettle by securing their third consecutive City League Championship. Their victory, a testament to their unwavering dedication and hard work, was sealed with a 44-37 win over Pittsburgh Obama; and

WHEREAS, In the late 2000s, the Pittsburgh Allderdice Boys Basketball Team began their ascent to greatness, overtaking Schenley as the city's premier basketball program. Their defensive-minded brand of basketball, known as 'Hawk D', showcased their strategic prowess. In a game against Pittsburgh Obama, they activated the 'Shell' defense, swarming the ball and forcing a steal that led to a game-clinching transition bucket by Logan Golle; and
WHEREAS, Pittsburgh Allderdice's City League dominance has been on display since becoming champions for three consecutive years 2021 to 2023. This year's remarkable team was under the leadership of five unforgettable seniors: Logan Golle, Azerick Jetter, Major Rainey, Pavle Slepcev, and Skye'Zir Reeves. Eleven impressive and reliable underclassmen who are the foundation for a fourth City League Championship in 2024; and
WHEREAS, The following are members of the 2023-2024 Championship Team and are very
