Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety and authorized to enter on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh into a commodities purchasing agreement or agreements, or amendments thereto, with Premier Safety for the purchase of protective clothing for firefighters. Expenditures for the purchases shall be limited to authorized annual budgeted amounts. The specific cost of such protective clothing will be determined on an as-needed basis at set negotiated prices over the course of the agreement(s)’ term, to be paid from the following accounts:

Section 2.                     Said agreement or agreements and any amendment or amendments thereto shall be approved as to form by the City Solicitor.
