Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of Friends of the Riverfront in the amount of $1,290.50 in payment of closing costs for the purchase of property from 9th to 10th Street, between the current CSX railroad right-of-way on the South Side of Pittsburgh and the Monongahela River, for the purpose of expanding the City's trail system; charging the same to Account 600000, Fund 5100, Org 301000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2245750, Budget Year 1999.
