Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh to submit a Tree Vitalize grant application to and execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.  Also allowing the Mayor to execute relevant agreements with pertinent governmental units, pertinent non-profit entities, and contractors for the disbursement of Tree Vitalize funds under the terms of the Tree Vitalize Agreement.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized to submit a grant application to and execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in order to establish a Tree Vitalize Program for Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Section 2.  The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized to execute relevant agreements with pertinent governmental units and non-profit entities under the terms of the agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Section 3.  The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized to execute relevant agreements with contractors as may be needed to implement the Tree Vitalize Program within the City of Pittsburgh.
