Title

Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with a medical facility(ies) and/or laboratory(ies) for the administration and evaluation of employee and applicant drug and alcohol testing, mandated by federal law, state or local law or bargaining agreement, and providing for payment of the cost thereof.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with medical facility(ies) and/or laboratory(ies) for the administration and evaluation of employee and applicant drug  and alcohol testing, mandated by federal law, state or local law, or bargaining agreement, and providing for payment of the cost thereof. The total amount payable under said agreement shall not exceed Thirty -Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000), chargeable to and payable from Account 526100 (Miscellaneous Professional Services), Fund 1000, Sub Class 150, Organization Code 109000, Budget Year 2001, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission.
