Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a maintenance agreement with Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership for the Pittsburgh Pedestrian Wayfinding Project, at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Pedestrian Wayfinding Project provides for the installation of a system of kiosks and pedestrian directional and trailblazers signs that will provide pedestrians with a unified and sequential system for orientation, navigation and enjoyment of downtown Pittsburgh as further detailed on Exhibits A, B, and C (the "Wayfinder System"); and
WHEREAS, certain kiosks have been installed as part of the Wayfinder System at the location detailed on Exhibit A (the "Kiosks"); and
WHEREAS, certain new pedestrian directional and trailblazers signs (the "Existing Pole Signs") have been installed as part of the Wayfinder System on existing City poles (the "Existing Poles") as detailed on Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, certain of these Existing Poles are existing traffic light poles ("Traffic Poles"); and
WHEREAS, certain new pedestrian directional and trailblazers signs (the "New Pole Signs", collectively with the Existing Pole Signs, the "Signs") have been installed on new City poles (the "New Poles", collectively with the Existing Poles, the "Poles") as part of the Wayfinder System as detailed on Exhibit C; and
WHEREAS, the PDP and the City have each agreed to assume certain responsibilities with the maintenance and care of the Wayfinder System; and
WHEREAS, the PDP and the City now wish to document their understanding of each party's role regarding the care and maintenance of the Wayfinder System.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
