Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a contract or contracts, or use of existing contract or contracts, or agreement or agreements, to purchase bicycle supplies, equipment, uniforms and accessories for the Bureau of Police.  The total cost shall not exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Fund 1000, Org. No. 230000, Subclass 050, Account 534600, Budget Year 2001, Bureau of Police, Department of Public Safety.
