Resolution vacating a portion of Hessin Street from Bigelow Street westerly to its terminus in the 15th Ward, 5th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Hessin Street in the 15th Ward, 5th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That vacating a portion of Hessin Street, 40' feet wide from Bigelow Street to its westerly terminus. The City of Pittsburgh transfers the portion of its reversionary rights to Hessin Street, opposite parcel 55-A-241, as described in Description A for a distance of 114.96 feet to that parcels ownership of (55-A-241) located therein, in the 15th Ward, 5th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described below shall be and the same is hereby vacated.

Beginning at a point on the Western Side of Bigelow Street said point being the Southeast corner of lot No 194 in the John E Williams Plan of Lots recorded in Plan Book Volume 8, Page 309; thence Northwest along said lot line, being the Northern line of Hessin Street, North 84° 14' 48" West a distance of 114.96 feet to a point at the corner of a 20 foot Unnamed Way and Hessin Street, 40 feet wide; thence Southwardly across Hessin Street South 23° 48' East a distance of 45.98 feet to a point on the Southern line of Hessin Stre...
