Resolution granting unto Pittsburgh Board of Public Education, 341 S. Bellefield Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15213, their successors and assigns, an encroachment to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, two (2) canopies / marquis with signage, decorative light fixtures, utility vaults and trees with metal grates at the 9th Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard for the High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA), in the 2nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. That the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education, 341 S. Bellefield Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15213, their successors and assigns, is hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a canopy / marquis with illuminated signage above, 8' feet wide, 23' feet in length, 10'8" above the sidewalk, and three trees with metal 5' x 5' grates on a 12' foot sidewalk at Fort Duquesne Boulevard; a canopy / marquis with illuminated signage above, 8'10" wide, 22' feet in length, 10'8" above the sidewalk, 12 decorative light fixtures attached to the building, 22' feet above the sidewalk, 6 underground utility vaults, 10' feet in width, a total of 150' feet in length with metal grates flush with the sidewalk, and 5 trees with metal 5' x 5' grates on a 12' foot sidewalk at 9th Street, in the 2nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-436 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.
Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, sh...
