Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of the Department of Court Records in the amount of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($4,750.00) for 190 LIDAR related cases at $25.00 per appeal for individuals who pled or were found guilty of Pennsylvania Vehicle Code violations based upon the City of Pittsburgh Police Bureau's use of the unapproved LIDAR speed-timing device. The funds for these appeals will be paid from Organization:  230000, Fund: 1000, Sub: 150, Account: 527100, Budget Year:  2008, Department of Public Safety, Police Bureau.
