Resolution accepting the dedication by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh of certain streets in the South Side Works project in the 16th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for public highway and utility purposes, accepting the grading, paving, street lighting, curbing, traffic signals, establishment of grades and fixing the width and position of roadways and sidewalks thereof. (Council District 3).

Whereas, Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, owner of certain property in the
South Side Works project in the 16th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, wishes to dedicate certain
streets to the City of Pittsburgh for public highway and utility purposes and the City of Pittsburgh wishes to accept the dedication;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The dedication of the following streets and utilities is hereby accepted:
(a) ,South 26th Street /Tunnel Boulevard/Coal Place
All those certain lots or parcels of ground situate in the 16th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated as Parcel 21 and Parcel 22 in South Side Works Plan No. 24, recorded in
Plan Book Volume 261, Page 97, bounded and described as follows:
General Description:
Beginning at a point on the northerly end of existing South 26th Street then heading in a
northerly and an easterly direction, through the LTV South Side Works redevelopment site, to
proposed South Water Street's southern right-of-way line, for a distance of approximately 460
linear feet. The right-of-way varies in width from 60.00 feet to 45.00 feet.
Metes and Bounds Description:
Beginning at a point, said point being on the westerly line of South 26th Street,
approximately 579.98 feet north of the intersection of East Carson Street's northern right-of-way
line and the western right-of-way line of South 26th Street; thence in a northerly direction
