Resolution authorizing Council’s consent to an extension, pursuant to § 922.05.D of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances (the “Zoning Code”), of the deadline for the Planning Commission to act on Council Bill #2024-0959.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the request of the Honorable Bobby Wilson, representative for Council District One, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby consents to an extension of time, in accordance with § 922.05.D of the Zoning Code, for the Planning Commission to submit its report and recommendation on Council Bill 2024-0959, entitled “Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning Code, Article VI, Chapter 919, Signs, to create Entertainment Districts and regulate signs,” which was referred to the Planning Commission on January 29, 2025. Council consents to an additional thirty (30) day extension, changing the deadline for final action for the Planning Commission to October 25, 2025.
Section 2. Any Resolutions or Ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
