WHEREAS, Jeanann Wank and Richard P. (Butch) Nolla have lived in Arlington and belonged to St. Henry's Parish all of their lives; and
WHEREAS, Jeanann and Butch were childhood sweethearts and were married on June 27, 1959 at St. Henry's Church; and
WHEREAS, Butch and Jeanann have two children, Sandra Jean and Richard Paul; three grandchildren Nicole, Anthony and Chelsea; and three great grandchildren Gabriel, Maximus and Taliyah; and
WHEREAS, Butch recently retired, as a foreman, from Brass and Bronze in the city's Strip District after 39 years of service and Jeanann worked at Kramer's Pharmacy, as a clerk, for 28 years; and
WHEREAS , both Jeanann and Butch are enjoying their 'golden' years, they both belong to St. Clair Athletic Association where they enjoy playing cards, wii bowling, exercising and socializing with fellow members at parties and gatherings;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does, hereby, commend and congratulate Jeanann and Butch Nolla for celebrating 50 happy years of marriage on their 'Golden' Wedding Anniversary.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does, herby, proclaim Saturday, June 27, 2009 as Jeanann and Butch Nolla Day, in the City of Pittsburgh.
