WHEREAS, Anna (nee Annie) Pearl Taylor, affectionately known to family and friends as “Teenie”, was born on June 3^rd, 1939, in Sylacauga, Alabama.  Anna attended Sylacauga High School and relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1958 and,

WHEREAS, On February 7^th, 1959, Anna was united in matrimony to Bernard Taylor, Sr. and in lieu of their 50^th wedding anniversary, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl gave the beautiful couple a proclamation to celebrate the significant martial milestone and,

WHEREAS, Teenie’s home was the heart of family gatherings, her legendary friend chicken and barbecue-never leftovers-she created a warm and festive atmosphere during the holiday season.  A devoted member of Sixth Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Tennie faithfully served as President of the Ushers and sang in both the mass and gospel choirs and,
