Resolution vacating a portion of Maurice Street in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Maurice Street in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating a portion of Maurice Street, 40 feet wide, from Fifth Avenue southerly as described below:
All that certain street to be vacated, being Maurice Street, situate in the 4th Ward, city of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, more particularly bound and described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the intersection of the southerly right of way line of Fifth Avenue, variable width, and the westerly right of way line of Maurice Street, 40.00 feet wide; thence from said point of beginning by the southerly right of way line of Fifth Avenue in a northeasterly direction by a curve bearing to the right having a radius of 374.80 feet through an arc distance of 48.57 feet, also having chord bearing of N 54º 29' 29" E and a chord distance of 48.54 feet, to a point on the easterly right of way line of Maurice Street; thence by the easterly right of way line of Maurice Street S 01º 00' 07" E a distance of 374.01 feet to a point; thence by a line through Maurice Street the following three (3) courses and distances:
S 88º59' 53" W a distance of 20.00 feet;
N 01º00' 07" W a distance of 14.18 feet;
