Resolution amending Resolution No. 457, effective July 27, 2017, entitled “Authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to enter into a Transfer Agreement or Agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (“PennDOT”), under which PennDOT will make improvements to and transfer to the City of Pittsburgh portions of State Route 4084 from East Street to the West End Bridge, including Allegheny Circle.” to include State Route 4001, Allegheny Avenue from Reedsdale Street to Western Avenue.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows: 

Section 1 of Resolution No. 457, effective July 27, 2017, which presently reads as follows:

The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (“PennDOT”) under which PennDOT will make improvements to and transfer portions of State Route 4084 from East Street to the West End Bridge, including Allegheny Circle.

The Transfer Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.

                     Is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 1

The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (“PennDOT”) under which PennDOT will make improvements to and transfer portions of State Route 4084 from East Street to the West End Bridge, including Allegheny Circle. PennDOT will also transfer State Route 4001, Allegheny Avenue from Reedsdale Street to Western Avenue.

In all other respects, Resolution No. 457, effective July 27, 2017, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
