Title
Resolution granting unto the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, an encroachment to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a canopy with light and logo, outdoor book return bins and bike racks on and over the sidewalk area at 708 Brookline Boulevard in the 19th Ward, 4th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, is hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a steel and Parklex Canopy with light, 13'3" wide, 10' 8" up from the sidewalk area with attached aluminum logo, projecting maximum 2'6" out from the face of building with an overall height of 9'6"; 3 steel surface mounted bike racks 12" inches long, 6" inches wide at base, 34" inches high, 2'6" from inside edge of curb; and two metal book return bins 24" X 24" wide by 40" high, 1' 10" from curb to centerline on and over a 14' 10" sidewalk area at 708 Brookline Boulevard 19th Ward, 4th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-506 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.

Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction. Said plans and said construction shall be subject to the approval and supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works.
