Title
Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a professional services Contract or Contracts for the purpose of providing professional legal services in connection with the defense of certain worker's compensation matters and claims brought against the City under the Worker's Compensation Act and providing for the payment of the cost thereof. Cost not to exceed $30,000.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor: FORD & COUNCIL FRIED, KANE, WALTERS, ZUSCHLAG & GROCHMAL shall engage in legal counsel for defense of workers' compensation, to include subrogation's, against the City at a cost not to exceed $ 30,000 (Thirty thousand dollars) chargeable and payable from Code Account 44-9, Workers' Compensation Program Medical/Administration, Index Code 004499, Account 574300, Fund 1000, Organization 999300, Sub Class 040, and Budget Year 2005, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission.
