Whereas, Stanley Construction held a groundbreaking ceremony to promote the new Crestline Court Development in which 25 new homes will be built in the East Hills area; and
Whereas, Mr. Stanley Caldarelli is the owner of Stanley Real Estate and Stanley Construction Company, which was established in 1968; and,
Whereas, Mr. Caldarelli has built over 600 Single Family homes in Penn Hills, Butler, North Versailles, Monroeville, Forest Hills, and the North Hills. He has also built and currently manages 188 Multi-Family Apartments and has built Townhouses in Wilkinsburg and Canonsburg; and,
Whereas, Mr. Caldarelli has lead the local construction business in his support of diversity by contacting the City of Pittsburgh to request that at least 50 percent of all participation be minority workers from within the community. Mr. Caldarelli has also received an award for outstanding management in HUD Multi-Family housing from the former Housing Secretary Andrew Cuomo.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by Council of the City of Pittsburgh, does hereby commend Mr. Stanley Caldarelli and Stanley Construction for their efforts to promote economic growth and development and support of diversity in the City of Pittsburgh.
