Title

Resolution in the event an ACT 47 Recovery Plan is implemented, Council authorizes and directs the Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh to immediately contact the Allegheny County Chief Executive for the purpose of establishing a similar benefit package to that of the former City of Pittsburgh 911 employees for all employees transferring from the City of Pittsburgh to Allegheny County employment under City-County consolidation of services.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized and directed to immediately contact the Allegheny County Chief Executive for the purpose of establishing a similar benefit package to that of the former City of Pittsburgh 911 employees for all employees transferring from the City of Pittsburgh to Allegheny County employment under City-County consolidation of services in the event an Act 47 Recovery Plan is implemented.

 

 

Section 2.  The benefit agreement should include, but not be limited to, the employees of the City of Pittsburgh purchasing department and the City-County Integrated Identification Program transferring to Allegheny County.

 

NOTE: I do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance duly engrossed and certified, was delivered by me to the Mayor for his approval of disapproval and that the Mayor failed to approve or disapprove the same, whereupon it became law without his approval, under the provisons of the Act of the Assembly in such case made and provided.
