Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget are authorized to apply for a grant from Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development’s Municipal Assistance Program to overhaul Pittsburgh’s zoning code and zoning map to remove restrictive barriers. The grant proposal includes an ask not to exceed ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($150,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. The grant requires a match not to exceed ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($150,000.00) dollars to come from the City’s Operating Budget for a total project cost not to exceed THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($300,000.00) dollars.
