WHEREAS, on Wednesday, January 31, 2008 the Langley High School Mustang Wrestling Team, coached by Ed White and assisted by Len Orbovich and Stefan Wiedenhofer, won the 2008 City League Team Wrestling Championship when they beat Brashear High School; and
WHEREAS, with Head Coach Ed White and staff's hard work and dedication to the wrestling program and players, Langley wrestlers were able to bring the second "City Team Wrestling Championship Trophy" to Langley High School with a record of 10 wins and no losses; and
WHEREAS, the 2007-2008 Langley Mustang wrestlers are:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh congratulates the Players and Coaches of Langley High School for an outstanding 2008 Team Wrestling season and winning the City League Championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that May 13, 2008 is declared "Langley Mustang Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
