Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into Professional Service Agreement(s) and/or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with consultants and/or service providers to provide professional services in connection with Civil Service and MPOETC required assessment and evaluation of Police Officer Recruit candidates at a cost not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), chargeable to and payable from Account #526100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 150, Organization Code 109000, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, Budget Year 2007.
 
These services will include but not be limited to comprehensive job analysis in accordance with the Uniform Federal Guidelines on Employee Selection; development, analysis, scoring and review of Civil Service examinations; and administration and evaluation of Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) required psychological, fitness and reading assessments.
