Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh to enter into a grant agreement with the Hartford Insurance Company for the purpose of receiving grant funds in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) that will be exclusively used to purchase fire prevention materials for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Hartford Insurance Company for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). With this grant, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire will purchase fire prevention materials. Monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 2529400218.48106.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the grant agreement with the Hartford Insurance Company, outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed ten thousand dollars chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund 2529400218.50000.00.
