• Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby wholeheartedly endorses and authorizes the Turtle Creek Valley COG to make application for such a grant on our behalf; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes that the grant funding from a local foundation will serve as the amount of local match required by said project.

WHEREAS the Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments (COG) will be operating an intermunicipal, cooperative project to provide planning assistance; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to participate in said inter-municipal, cooperative project on behalf of the Oakland Planning and Development and the Hazelwood Initiative, Inc; and

WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development makes available grants-in-aid to such projects through the Land Use and Technical Assistance Program (LUPTAP),

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby wholeheartedly endorses and authorizes the Turtle Creek Valley COG to make application for such a grant on our behalf;
