Title
Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a Professional Services Agreement(s), and/or Contract(s) for the purpose of conducting comprehensive Job Analyses and Civil Service examination services for the position of Police Officer Recruit and Firefighter Recruit, cost not to exceed $140,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Acting Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement(s), Professional Service Agreement(s), and/or Contract(s) to: conduct two separate comprehensive job analyses of the positions of Police Officer Recruit and Firefighter Recruit;
provide the Department of Personnel and Civil Commission with Final Job Analysis Reports and Testing Plans; review and revise the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission's Police Officer Recruit written and oral Civil Service examinations and assist with the training and scoring of all examinations/evaluations; review and revise the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission's Firefighter Recruit written and physical ability Civil Service examinations and assist with the training and scoring of all examinations/evaluations
Said Agreement or Agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions as said Solicitor may require. The total amount shall not exceed $140,000.00 (One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars) chargeable to and payable from Account #526100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 150, Organization Code 109000 and Budget year 2006.
