Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.   The City Clerk is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or use an existing agreement or agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with the Allegheny County Department of Elections for use of equipment and technical services supplied to the City of Pittsburgh for the purpose of implementing the 2002 special election in City Council District 9 for the benefit of the residents of the City of Pittsburgh at a cost not to exceed $60,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the following account(s):
