Resolution amending Resolution 64 of 2022 that authorized the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the Pittsburgh Regional Transit, Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority concerning the Bus Rapid Transit Project; in order to increase funding for BRT project staffing contributed to the City from Pittsburgh Regional Transit by THREE HUNDRED AND SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($307,500.00) DOLLARS.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh ("City"), Pittsburgh Regional Transit ("PRT"), Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority previously entered into a cooperation agreement concerning the Bus Rapid Transit ("BRT") Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh received certain funding from PRT for BRT Project Staffing for use by the City to expand City personnel; and
WHEREAS, current funding for this staffing will expire at the end of 2024; and
WHEREAS, with the BRT Project still progressing, PRT wishes to provide the City with additional funding to sustain its additional personnel for a period of at least three more years.
