Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service is authorized and directed to immediately contact the various Authorities of the City of Pittsburgh with the expressed purpose of providing City of Pittsburgh employees displaced by the Act 47 Recovery Plan consideration for any open positions or newly created positions available within the Authorities in the event an Act 47 Recovery Plan is implemented.
