Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, and/or Amendments with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”) for the purpose of geophysical surveying by the USACE at Arsenal Park, at no cost to the City.

Body

WHEREAS, the land affected by this purpose is within Arsenal Park, parcel number 0049K00061000000; and

WHEREAS, the USACE seeks to survey the property as part of its Environmental Assessment and Response at Formerly Used Defense Site Program.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, and/or Amendments with United States Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”) for the purpose of geophysical surveying by the USACE at Arsenal Park, at no cost to the City.

Section 2.                     The Agreement and Amendments thereto shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
