Resolution granting unto James Scalo, 800 Bursca Drive, Suite 802, Bridgeville, PA 15017 his successors and assigns, an encroachment to construct, maintain and use at his own cost and expense, a handicap ramp, glass canopy, glass bay window, balcony, decorative lights and cornice at the right-of ways at 5854 Ellsworth Ave and College Avenue in the 7th Ward, 8th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That James Scalo, 800 Bursca Drive, Suite 802, Bridgeville, PA 15017 his successors and assigns, is herby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense:
College Avenue Encroachments:
Handicap Ramp - 3'4" in width by 12' in length;
Glass Bay - projecting 2' over property line, 6' in length, 9'4" above sidewalk area;
Decorative Lights - 9 decorative wall sconces, maximum projection 2'6", 10' minimum height above sidewalk area; three trees with cast iron grate;
Ellsworth & College Avenues – Glass Entry Canopy, projecting 2'6" over property line, 20' 4" in length, 10' 10" above sidewalk areas;
Cornice – Projecting 1' 8" over property line 35' above the sidewalk areas.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of this Resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-472 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.

Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction. Said plans and said construction shall be subject to the approval and supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works.
