Resolution providing for a Professional Services Agreement(s) and/or Contract(s) with Compass Natural Gas Partners LP for the lease of a compressed natural gas fueling system, and provision of fuel for the payment thereof, at a cost not to exceed $378,000.
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Pittsburgh desires to achieve more controlled, reliable, efficient and centralized Compressed Natural Gas fueling;
WHEREAS, the Office of Management & Budget issued an RFP for these services and;
WHEREAS, this new service will provide the City with reliable, City controlled fueling of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, and allow the City to continue to grow its CNG fleet, which produce 40% less NOx emissions and up to 48% less Green Houses gases;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Professional Services Agreement(s) and/or Contract(s) with Compass Natural Gas Partners LP for the lease of a compressed natural gas fueling system, and provision of fuel for the payment thereof, at a cost not to exceed $378,000 chargeable to and payable from the following JD Edwards accounts:
