Resolution providing for the issuance of an Agreement or Agreements with a qualified third party Administrator to administer the City of Pittsburgh's liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law for a period of three years.

Body

Be it Resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements in a form or forms approved by the City Solicitor with a third party Administrator to administer the City's liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law for a period of three years beginning October 2001.  Said Agreement or Agreements shall not exceed $18,547.00 (Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Forty Seven) chargeable to and payable from Account #574100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 040, Organization Code 999300 and Budget year 2001.
