Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a Temporary License Agreement with Allegheny County to provide access for the City to use a portion of Property owned by Allegheny County as a temporary construction area for purpose of staging construction equipment, materials and supplies needed for landslide remediation and stabilization of William Street.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is the owner of a certain parcel of land identified by the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate as Block & Lot 4-H-21, located in the 18th Ward, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (the “Property”); and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh must utilize the Property to perform certain landslide stabilizing and remediation work in support of William Street; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh now wishes to enter into a temporary license agreement with Allegheny County to utilize the Property as needed; and

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a Temporary License Agreement with Allegheny County to provide access for the City to use a  property owned by Allegheny County designated as Block  &  Lot  4-H-21 and  located  in  the  18th  Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, as a temporary construction area  for purpose of staging construction equipment, materials and supplies needed for landslide remediation and stabilization of William Street. The location and dimensions of this temporary construction area are set forth further in the attached Exhibit “A” plan sheet.
