Resolution further amending Resolution 532, effective November 17, 2004, as amended by Resolution No. 145, effective March 17, 2000, and also as amended by Resolution No. 439, effective June 27, 2002, entitled "Providing for a lease(s) and/or sublease(s) of space located within the City of Pittsburgh's 20th Ward, from lessor, Scientific-Pittsburgh, for the purpose of establishing offices for the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, Weed & Seed Task Force effective September 1, 2001 and renewable annually thereafter until November 1, 2004 at a cost not to exceed Seven Hundred Seventy Five Dollars ($775.00) per month, Nine Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($9,300.00) per year." The amendment will extend the lease, renewable through November 2010, and change the rate to $815.00 per month and $9780.00 annually.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution 532, effective November 17, 2004, as amended by Resolution No. l45, effective March 17, 2000, and also as amended by Resolution 439, effective June 27, 2002, which presently reads as follows:
"The Mayor and the Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a lease and/or sublease with Scientific-Pittsburgh, lessor, for approximately 864 square feet of office space within the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the purpose of establishing offices for the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, Weed & Seed Task Force effective September 1, 2001 and renewable annually until November 1, 2004 thereafter at a cost not to exceed Nine Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($9,300.00) per year together with a lump sum payment of Eight Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars and Fourteen Cents ($858.14) for improvements, chargeable to and payable from Account 561950, Fund 2416, Organization Code 232300, Sub-class 600, Budget Year 2002. Said lease, sublease, amendment to lease and/or sublease shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions for the protection of the City as said Solicitor may require.
Is hereby amended to read as follows;
"The Mayor and The Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a lease and/or sublease with Scientific-Pittsburgh, lessor, for approximately 864 square feet of office space within the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the purpose of establishing offices for the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, Weed & Seed Task Force made effective November 1, 2007 and renewable annually until November, 1, 2010 thereafter at a cost not to exceed Eight Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($815.00) per month, Nine Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Dollars ($9,780.00) per year subject to and contingent upon the annual appropriation of City Council, chargeable to and payable from Account 561950, Fund 2440, Organization Code 232300, Sub-class 600, Budget Year 2008. Said lease, sublease, amendment to lease and/or sublease shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions for the protection of the City as said Solicitor may require.
Section 2. In all other respects, Resolution No. 145, effective Mary 17, 2000, as amended by Resolution No. 439, effective June 27, 2002, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
