Resolution requesting the approval of an inter-municipal transfer of restaurant liquor license, License No. R-18490, from Lotus Garden, Inc. - 3911 Saw Mill Run Boulevard, Pittsburgh PA. 15227 to Applicant Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation - 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219 into the premises to be known as the Texas De Brazil, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby endorses the request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-18490, from Lotus Garden, Inc. - 3911 Saw Mill Run Boulevard, Pittsburgh PA. 15227 to Applicant Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation - 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219 into the premises to be known as the Texas De Brazil, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461

Section 2.      Request for Approval

Applicant Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation -which has the mailing address of 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219 submitted a request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-18490, which is currently registered to Lotus Garden, Inc. - 3911 Saw Mill Run Boulevard, Pittsburgh PA. 15227 desires to place a restaurant liquor license into the premises known as Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation - 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219.  The proposed interior of the premises is a restaurant business containing 7,101square feet of floor area.

Section 3.      Public Hearing

City Council shall set a date for a Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing in the City of Pittsburgh concerning Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation - 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219, intent to the above liquor license.

Section 4.      Approval or Denial of Request

After the Public Hearing which was held  July 31, 2012, and within 45 days of the introduction of this Resolution, City Council shall render a decision to approve or disapprove the request of Texas De Brazil (Pittsburgh) Corporation - 240 W. Station Square Drive, Suite D-1, Pittsburgh, PA  15219, for inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license.  City Council must approve the Texas De Brazil request unless it finds that approval would adversely affect the welfare, health, peace and morals of the City of Pittsburgh or its residents.
