Resolution requesting the approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-7620 from Pizza Hut of America, Inc. 6347 Library Road, Library PA, 15129, to Applicant, Packs & Dogs, LLC, c/o Leonard F. Semplice, 320 Fort Duquesne Boulevard, 7-G Gateway Towers, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, for the premises located at 225-227 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, known as Packs & Dogs, LLC, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburg as follows:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby endorses the request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-7620 from Pizza Hut of America, Inc. 6347 Library Road, Library PA, 15129, to Applicant, Packs & Dogs, LLC, c/o Leonard F. Semplice, 320 Fort Duquesne Boulevard, 7-G Gateway Towers, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, for the premises located at 225-227 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, known as Packs & Dogs, LLC, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.
Section 2. Request for Approval
Packs & Dogs, LLC, c/o Leonard F. Semplice, which has a mailing address of 320 Fort Duquesne Boulevard, 7-G Gateway Towers, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, submitted a request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-7620, which is currently registered to Pizza Hut of America, Inc. 6347 Library Road, Library PA, 15129, desires to place a restaurant liquor license into premises known and numbered as 225-227 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, known as Packs & Dogs, LLC. The proposed interior of the premises is a 2,000 square foot space for the restaurant and tavern business.
Section 3. Public Hearing
City Council shall set a date for Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing in the City of Pittsburgh concerning Packs & Dogs, LLC, c/o Leonard F. Semplice's intent to the above liquor license.
Section 4. Approval or Denial of Request
After the Public Hearing which was held February 20, 2008, and within 45 days of the introduction of this Resolution, City Council shall render a decision to approve or disapprove the request of Packs & Dogs, LLC, for inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license. City Council must approve Packs & Dogs, LLC, request unless it finds that approval would adversely affect the welfare, health, peace and morals of the City of Pittsburgh or its residents.
