Resolution vacating a portion of Offley Way in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Whereas, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Offley Way in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the Council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
Whereas, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
That vacating a portion of Offley Way, beginning at a point on the southwesterly intersection of Brighton Road and Offley Way; thence along the southerly line of Offley Way 15' wide S 86° 46' 40"w 288.24 feet to a point at the westerly terminus of Offley Way, at vacation Resolution 13, approved February 4, 1972; thence along the said westerly terminus of Offley Way N 03° 13' 20"W 15 feet to a point on the northerly line of Offley Way; thence along the northerly line of Offley Way N 86° 46' 40"E 288.14 feet to a point at the intersection of Offley Way and Brighton Road; thence along the westerly line of Brighton Road S 03° 35' 20"E 15.00 feet to a point the place of beginning, containing 4322.85 square feet, in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh is hereby vacated.
Section 2. This resolution, however, shall not take effect or be of any force or validity unless owners of all the property fronting or abutting on Offley Way as vacated by this resolution, shall, within sixty days after the effective date of this resolution, pay into the Treasury of the City of Pittsburgh the sum of $6,500.00 use of the City of Pittsburgh.
